week-long intensive overview of the tools students need for maximized
learning. Skills taught in this course include: grammar

Cape Fear Academy students have required reading assignments over the summer. They need to have a thorough understanding of what they have read in order to complete the tests and assignments they will be given upon their return to school in August. During this week-long course, students will review themes and connecting ideas, summarize and paraphrase, go over key quotes, organize paragraphs, and take notes to complete their understanding of what they have read.

Think Camp builds on lessons developed within CFA's Think Lab Lower School Curriculum to give campers an opportunity to learn and explore utilizing the newest technological devices in an educational setting. Students will work with Mindstorm Robots, iPod Touches, Smart Boards as well as other logical thinking puzzles and games in an environment that is dynamic and fun. Students have an option to attend camp for the morning only, or a full day session (bring your own lunch).
This Camp is for Grades: Rising 1st - Rising 5th (Both CFA and non-CFA students are welcome!)
